A Light as a Cloud

Inspired by the lightness and form of clouds, the design of the Polina Light by Focal Point required a material that combined strength, stability, and minimal weight to bring its vision to life. Molded PET Felt, developed in collaboration with Becker Brakel, our manufacturing partner, VentureSource delivered the solution—achieving the desired cloud-like effect with a thin, sculpted form tapering from 0.75 in. at the center to 0.125 in. at the edge, and weighing just 3 lbs.
